It’s referred to as Therapeutic Phlebotomy in the modern era. Ferritin levels were above 400 which is above the reference range which was the only outlier in the blood work I had done.
Over the years, I’ve seen many of us preach the good word of carnivore, exercise, and sunshine. We seem divided on the subject of supplementation which, to me, puts way too much faith in the food supply, farming practices, and soil health. (The soil has been depleted of magnesium for over a century). Some of us take iodine knowing the constant exposure to halides make it impossible to get it from diet in adequate supply.
We know men accumulate iron. (And post-menopausal women) Do any of you give blood to maintain optimal iron levels? Heck, it never really crossed my mind to consider it until I saw the blood work. The next book on my reading list is Dumping Iron. It was one of you angry niggerfaggots who sent me down the Vitamin C rabbit hole which lead me to some great books as well.
That said, I thank you for your thoughts, anecdotes, personal experiments, and trolling in advance.
That’s a fair assessment. Often, different theories are contradicting in nature. What I read is from holistic doctors with enough case studies to help support their points. One has little choice but to consider each item and make his own decision based on their needs.
