the "spooky action" is even dumber than they say. It's a sleight of hand and a repeated misconception.

Legitimately the "two entangled photons" are just two sides of a wavefront in 3d space going off in opposite directions. Nothing special. If you know which way the wave front is vibrating on one end, then you know which way the wave front is vibrating on the other.

The "Collapse of the wave function" is also nothing special. The wave function is just a probabilistic tool to have a good guess of what is going on... and the "Collapse" is just making that guess more concrete by measuring the thing. They like to treat it like measuring magically changes the state, but it doesn't... you just now can work with knowing what the state is.
