If I am reading it right, the super simple explanation is YouTube now requires you to pass a code to play videos. They are doing this to try and stop bots from accessing videos. The code you need is generated by a function YouTube wrote. NewPipe needs to get to that function and use it to create the - Upgoat - "what's upgoat!"
