Because parents see kids as extensions of themselves. Which I can even understand to a degree but it boggles the mind how much they don’t pay attention to what is being taught to their kids. The previous generations dropped their kids in front of the tv and the current generations drop them in front of the internet to get indoctrinated. Their kids grow up to be completely different than them, but exactly as the indoctrination intended. But hey, it beats actually spending effort and time raising your kids, I guess
