It's a natural response to capitalism. We see idle rich gobbling up companies and colluding to raise prices. The idea that the owner class should be disposed of is not far fetched.
The concept is naive but it is easily sold to young idiots. Somehow they are surprised when they end up exploited by party leaders instead of capital owners.
