I was perusing the Irving books site to see if Churchill Vol 3 would make it into production after Irvings death, and see you can preorder a signed copy!? I look it up and see that it's claimed that he's not dead year. In fact, the origonal upgoat post had a poster saying it wasn't true, but I'd somehow missed it.
Not sure whether to pay $125 (US, it's 100 pound sterling) for a signed copy of a book that wasn't produced yet or not. I have signed vol 2's and unsigned vol 1 already. Great history books and fantastic reads.

His wife posted on Facebook or X or something that he was not dead hours after everyone started saying he was. I updated the OP of the thread announcing his death a while ago with this.
Irving is still alive, but he's not in the condition to continue to work. I'm not certain how well maintained he is with his health, but he's not dead.
