I build leg muscles faster than anyone I've ever heard of and know all to well the consequences of an unbalanced regime.
Make sure you are stretching, massaging, supplementing with cal-mag if you get charlie horses, and balancing the workout so that you are exercising opposing muscles, massaging regions linked to the muscles your working is also a good idea.
