I see tons of paywalls, and some of them are so expensive that I might as well buy the thing I'm trying to print anyway. Speaking of that, 3D printing is a lot less useful than people might think. There isn't much to print unless you're very quick at making your own custom parts.
thangs.com works as a search engine for many 3d model websites (thingiverse, grabcad, cults, yeggi, printables..etc). Also, archive.org is a good resource, just add "stl" to the end of your search.
You're going to want to build your own files eventually. fusion360 is decent and free.
