It seems to work pretty well for enough people. I think it's the more habitual/frequent/long-term use that really fucks people up. When I see stories like this one, it's usually people that are inhaling the stuff several times per day at high doses with no self control or intention of limiting usage. Therapy with it and correcting things like depression usually doesn't require much of it, and at least from the little bits of this part of the data that I've gleaned, the intended result is usually achieved within a month of weekly use at low doses, like the experiential equivilant of microdosing mushrooms while being just barely above the psychedelic threshold if at all. It seems to work well for some forms of chronic pain too with a treatment every 4-6 weeks (that part is worth double checking. It's been a while since I looked into this stuff.)
