JUST A POINT OF INTEREST

When lightening strikes a tree it generates internal ignition causing the tree to burn from the inside out.

When a human or animal is electrocuted the damage is internal, basically all water content inside the body is rapid boiled causing the steam to exit with explosive force and if the energy is of a given duration exceeding the quenching content of internal moisture then the shell structure and internal contents will burn as well...burning from the inside out.

The trees that were internally burning, as shown in various film clips of the Hawaii fires, were not ignited in the typical way that a fire is started.

It appears as though every tree was struck by lightning. That must have been one fuck of an electrical storm.

Are you telling us they found the "tree zero" and it was burned from the inside out? I thought in such cases all that's left are a pile of ashes.
