THE IMPACT OF THE RECENT BUSH FIRE BLITZ

submitted by Zyklonbeekeeper to HDLunited 1.9 yearsJun 29, 2023 18:27:06 ago (+17/-0)     (HDLunited)

Generally I have 14 bears that habit my home property and proximate area, 3 of them are family, and everybody gets along.

The recent blast of fires has consumed a lot of bush land all over Northern Ontario and many other places in West & East Canada and because of this bears have been forced out of their normal habitat, even moose are scrambling to avoid the flames with many getting killed on the Trans Canada Hwy after colliding with vehicles. In the Algoma district around Wawa, White River, Chapleau and Sault Ste Marie, there's been a half dozen killed inside of last week and I hate to see that. Even though I've bagged my share of moose in my day I think they're one hell of a beautiful animal.

Last week I noticed a strange bear, by the weekend there was 6 new bears hanging out with the regulars but keeping their distance...there's no inclusive diversity programs with bears, strangers are not easily befriended, in many cases they're pushed away from the circle of regulars but with no serious interaction.

It's interesting to see how the foreign bears will sit on the perimeter and watch the regulars interact with me and because they note the regulars crowding around me they get a sense of comfort in that I or my wife are a meal ticket but they're still cautious because they're wild.

The wild bears are thinner, big heads and ears, clean pelt and spindly legs...my bears are plump, muscled and big babies.

But if people thought there was lots of bears before they're going to see a big difference in numbers now...even the states will see an increase because bears don't give a fuck about borders.

Just thought I'd share this with you faggots.
