I was wondering what those hardier stalks were .. There is another one at the far corner of the box if its potato I guess thats fine.
Yes, I did put some compost in there but that was only towards the bottom and then I filled the rest with clean dirt. Dang it. Oh well, Im fine with cucumber. At least its not a useless plant that took over.
Maybe composting isnt the best idea. Spinach ended up in the "italian herb" patch , tomato in the pepper area, everything is a mess. Usually I'd just "go with it" but I wanted everything to more organized this year.
At least the watermelon was planted with pure clean dirt so there shouldnt be any surprises there.
Thank you again for identifying those leaves now I can plan accordingly.
