Bumped into him at the supermarket. He approached me because he could tell that Im an American veteran by my hat.

He said that he was a retired Canadian Navy Special Warfare Officer and that he had led a sizeable group of multinational veteran volunteers in Ukraine.

Over the course of a half hour I questioned him in depth and told him that I had zero trust in the reporting in the US. That I in fact usually assumed that anything the press said here was the opposite of the truth.

He did not paint a rosy picture and admitted that Russia was far from defeated. It was an amicable discussion but I realized that he and I disagreed on virtually every issue

He bemoaned "the racism in this country" meaning the US. I pointed out that gun crime was literally 94% black and and latino. He said the problem was "access to guns"! This from a guy that flies half way around the world to shoot Russians!

I said that I had a safe full of guns and that they had never committed a crime.

I told him the US 2nd Amendment was the only thing preventing a world totalitarian government. I thought he was gonna choke on that. He admitted that Trudeau "was an ass" but than tried to tell me that "Trump had no platform when he ran".

When I told him that was propaganda he insultingly asked me if I could read? Arrogant ass. I probably read and am better at math than he ever was.

I have come to the conclusion that cuckadians are leftists to a fault. Very anti gun. Think theyre not racist. (demographics) and are no longer worth the effort to speak to.

Im glad theyre spending a fortune to stay here a day less than 6 months (avoid taxes) but no longer feel the need to associate with them at all.
