I'm currently watching the 1992 movie about him directed by Spike Lee.

In the 5th grade I did a big class book report about him for black history month & made a shoebox diorama of him in his jail cell learning about the muslim religion. I vividly remember needing to buy wooden BBQ skewers instead of toothpicks for the jail cell bars & my mom getting mad at me because I didn't tell her until 3 days before the report & class presentation was due - Even though I had all of February to do it.
