Have you ever dealt with a Russian in regards to mathematics?
It's quite interesting that way they do calculations, like everything is reversed. When I was studying COBOL, I became a teachers assistant to help out people for extra credit, yeah, obviously this was a long time ago.
At any rate, it is hard to explain, but where we take everything as a positive, and subtract, they are completely opposite, and everything is a negative, and then do addition. I always found that very interesting.
3 Russian students, and they were all the same, all from disparate regions of mother Russia at the time, so I don't think it was isolated to a specific region.
