All scare tactics to get parents to give up their kids to the will of the system. My boy has been sick off and on and everytime he's sick our families are screeching for us to take him to the doctor immediately. He has been fine after a few days each time.
We give him echinacea root extract and he clears up quick. We also take it when we get sick.
These assholes literally said "that tea you made is gonna kill him, just go to the doctor!" I want to force a response from them. "Look, he didn't die and he got better in a day! Will you consider the merit of my choices next time?" But I'm already too much of an asshole.
