Video games are often maligned by parents and the media, but a recently published study of 2,217 nine- and ten-year-olds found that kids who played at least 21 hours of video games per week performed better on tests of cognitive performance involving response inhibition and working memory than kids who didn’t play video games at all.

21 hrs a week? that's too much in my opinion. i'm calling bs

If games are a skinner box then voat is also one.

Voat is no different than a game. You select what you want to read. Upvoat what you like and downvoat what you don't like. There are rules. You can post something and hope people read your post and reward you with comments or upvoats. However if they dislike your comment they can give you a negative response. Your posting may be ignored with no response. All in all its's one or the other. Either you get a reward or you don't.
