airbnb's success is yet another thing you can blame on millennials. it's never been cheaper than hotels and is always worse, for obvious reasons. hotels are professional operations that specialize in this task, with a product refined over centuries.
airbnb ruined a lot of good things. you used to be able to sublet your apartment for a week or two while you were traveling - it cost you nothing and you kept all the money. where can you do that now? exactly. airbnb killed those marketplaces. etc etc.
