Climate change? Primarily heating the poles, lowering the temperature difference with the equator, weakening the jet stream, and thus causing large swings in temperature on a weekly cycle? Impossible! Surely, the 1.5 degree difference in global average temperature is the most visible effect of climate change (note: deliberately renamed from global warming), and not knock on effects like more frequent severe storms, drought, and other severe weather. I'll continue to bury my head in the sand and ignore a coming disaster, by pretending my deliberately poor understanding of the issue makes me immune to it.
