So once you have water electrolysis which is well known will use electricity to split the water into hydrogen and oxygen. It takes energy to split the water into hydrogen and oxygen. Of course if you have an abundance of solar energy then you can use that. Of course you could also use a solar energy to run an electric heater directly or heat of sand pile inside your home which would keep the house warm all night. We could run electric burners with your solar energy. So you wouldn't need the hydrogen. So there's almost no real reason to take water from the air which requires energy and then convert that water to hydrogen using energy. When you could use that same solar or any other electrical energy to almost always directly do what the hydrogen fuel will do.
