That property management firm I mentioned, which contracted Cornerstone, is apparently co-owned by someone on the city council. So city government basically hired these thugs indirectly to crack down on the unruly poors that congregate around the bottle place. Reportedly Cornerstone has disappeared completely from that area in the wake of this incident, and the management firm ceased contracting with them.
