Not using made-up pronouns is a reverse scarlet letter. They use them as a shibboleth. Refusing will just get you black-balled to no benefit to anyone. If you need to make a stand you should insist others use made-up pronouns for you and you should change them monthly. Demonstrate the absurdity of the situation in a way where they aren't sure if you are taking a stand pro or con but the situation is clearly absurd.
