It's time to recognize the contributions made by the black sub-saharan people in the development of the frozen Arctic and Tundra plains.
For too long the black man has been forgotten about when engaging in the industrious and innovative history of the "black Eskimo". It was the African black who first designed and constructed the igloo, if not for them the Eskimo may never have progressed beyond the shelter of a gutted seal...in fact, a team of legal experts consisting of AL Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Ooprah and Mike Tyson are preparing to file a class action suit against the "Innu/Eskimo" tribes for trademark violations and patent infringements with respect to not only the design and construction of the igloo but also the ethnic label of "ESKIMO"
It's a painful shame that the world has been denied the history of the Black Eskimo.
FYI...a very interesting thesis was recently published by researchers at the University of Harlem (at ghetto) called "The Monkey in the Snow", it gives an entirely different perspective in relation to the "Out of Africa" theory .
