Unlike a hosted website, the code and infrastructure for everything on Aether is there for all to see. It is designed to be that way, to protect anonymity and support Free Speech.
@b has taken himself out of the equation, so it doesn't really matter what they are like, unlike the maintainer of an http website like this one, where the owner could shut down the whole thing on a whimsy. That wouldn't be possible with Aether.
