I've talked to an arab friend of mine, and he says he's read in the arab papers that the Saudi-China rumor is bullshit. They have no intention of disengaging from the dollar. He says that the saudi ministry has said that it's bullshit and don't listen to rumors, and that MBS knows that russia and china can't legitimately protect him.
If MBS does that, it's because he's been instructed to do it.
