Thinking bitcoin is beyond the reach of governments is a little optimistic.
In order for bitcoin, or any other crypto, to get beyond the reach of governments, it has to be used more than credit cards and cash combined.
Since most crypto is considered an investment at this point, and not a viable means of the general populace to transact, it is very easy for any government to track and take wallets.
