Final Fantasy 7 Remake was first released as a timed exclusive on PlayStation 4 in April 2020, which made a PC release seem likely a year later. But April 2021 came and went, and then Square Enix published another timed PlayStation exclusive release, in the June of this year, FF7 Remake Intergrade, with some graphical updates and a new chapter starring Yuffie.
Six months later, that exclusivity deal must finally be up, because FF7 Remake is hitting PC. Of course, as with Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts PC releases, there's another exclusive at play here. You'll only find FF7 Remake on the Epic Games Store, at least for now.
Square-Enix announced the Final Fantasy 7 Remake PC port at (((The Game Awards))) on Thursday. The game is due on December the 16th, on the Epic Games Store.
In other Square-Enix news: The publisher has decided to increase the base price of its new games to around 80 euros (70 dollars), from the previous default of 60 euros. As we can see, from their respective store pages both 'Final Fantasy 7 Remake' and the upcoming 'Forspoken' will be priced at 79.99 euros. And yes, in case you’re wondering, that’s the standard version. The Digital Deluxe Edition of Forspoken, will be priced at 105 euros. Happy Holidays my fellow goys.

Not even that since the original game's first disc didn't end when they left Midgar. At the rate they're going this game could go on until we die of old age just like the endless clot shot boosters.
