Now speculation. If what heaven noticed was a sky-splitting, earth-shaking blast (and I can't imagine the perpetrators not having done incredible rituals over such a great weapon for a commensurate supernatural effect) then why would air forces of countries who want to destroy the country of Israel fly into that? Wouldn't that be the country of Israel's Samson option?
And they wouldn't want themselves to be ground zero for such a blast, to the degree possible. I haven't looked into it, but I wonder if this is when Damascus gets turned into sheep pasture.
