The YT comments claim that Jane was mistakenly given the wrong knife by the prop guy. The Russian actor didn't realize he'd been stabbed until after the scene ended, he then sealed up the wound with super glue and carried on.
This movie is by far my favorite Punisher effort. I have no idea how faithful it is to the source material though.
