So here we are Monday morning - Australian time - and the machine is back up and running, I didn't do anything and never touched anything .. when I went to report the outage at TPG they were closed and had the message don't ring until you find out whether lack of signal is a "Network Issue" .. the compu was down for two days the landline telephone has been out for ten days and is still down.

Update - Here we are two hours on and the machine has gone down again .. TPG says a tech will call "in the next couple of days" .. they don't know when the 'phone will be back on.

Update 2# .. TPG rang they said to "get in touch with Testra," I did that they said the entire region has no landline telephone or i'net connection, and that it "should be back up by 7 pm 1 September" ..

Not much info. I assume on a PC. There is a place where you can specify a different DNS. Open DNS is an alternative.

use 8.8.8.8

Which is Google's DNS, which means you tell Google every website you visit. I know plenty of you lazy faggots do that anyways because you use Google search for everything and don't have an ad blocker installed.

On your keyboard hit: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start Button.

If that doesn't work try, control-alt-delete.

That should straighten things out.
