Why would you copy someone else's post and submit it to another sub? This was originally submitted by u/Unlimitedcatpisss to v/whatever.

From one goat to another, this is not good form, B4A.

This post is excluded from /all, which is partially its intended purpose for reposts/cross posts.

It's nice that it keeps these "double posts" out of v/all.

The better form I was referring to was to direct-link to the original post, not to copy the post as though it could have been uniquely submitted by op (even though he noted it's a mirror).

Edit: post shows 4 comments but there's only 3 at this moment, counting error?

What is the point in just linking to the other submission if the link in that submission is dead?

Cross/reposting is typically of your own submissions, and it was very cool that you Excluded it from All. I remember how "fond" goats were of double/cross posts LOL.

My point was that linking back to the original post shows respect for the original submitter.

This is how I've seen the internet roll since about 1905 and on ye olde voat.

That you archived it and showed a different way to link to reddit were nice touches.
