edit: found my guy - Shigeki Tomoyama: Bachelor's in mechanical engineering. Mr. Tomoyama was appointed chief officer of the Business Development Group, chief officer of the IT & ITS Group as well as chief officer of the Information Systems Group. After two months, he also became chief officer of the IT Group. In April 2012, he was made chief officer of the IT & ITS Group. April 2017, he became in charge of the External & Public Affairs Group and president of the GAZOO Racing Company. ... basically been in Toyota his whole life.

Toyota's gone a bit gooey lately. It sends me draft ads about associating happiness with a car for god's sake. Most people simply want a car to be reliable.End of story. Period.

I always found it odd a Japanese company like Toyota never used Japanese people in their ads.
