For context I once pursued a psychology degree and also spent a lot of time on 4chan back in the day and learned a fair bit about these people, from both backgrounds and enough to know that the psych field is woefully detached from the reality because they only get regular interviews with the retarded molesters who get imprisoned or committed or the type who get turned in by their family. Essentially they only get access to the psychologically regressive or emotionally stunted pedos and not the psychopathic pedos, or the manipulators of single moms.
I dipped on that psych program when I realized the path the field was on, I wasn't going to be a part of a machine putting children on hormones. Research psychology was my goal.
