It had dire consequences when Jasmin Jensen had herself vaccinated against covid-19 with AstraZeneca on 27 February 2021. Just 12 days later, the Danish Health Authority had to put the use of the vaccine on hold. But there the damage had already been done.

The then 30-year-old social and health assistant student, who was doing an internship at a residence for autistic people, reacted to the vaccine just a few hours after she had been stung. Then she became so ill that she had to give up her education.

Today she is an early pensioner with, among other things, constant headaches, difficulty concentrating and almost chronic fatigue. Her loss of ability to work is estimated at 90 percent, and according to Fagbladet FOA, this has just triggered a compensation of approximately DKK 11 million. DKK

The size of the compensation is due to the fact that Jasmin Jensen was only 30 years old when she was injured. It is paid continuously, offset against the early retirement pension and corresponds to the salary she could have earned as a social security assistant until she turns 73 in 2064 and can go on a public pension.
