I've also read in the past that porn starlets are often of Catholic background, if probably not very committed Catholics, which I suppose is unsurprising as I've also read in the past that a lot of porn girls come from the Midwest.
But here is an unscientific rundown on who runs the top ten porn companies based on this relatively fresh article:
