Right to Life groups have been coopted.

It's certainly no headline that politics is corrupt. It's corrupt precisely because it involves power — and power is easy to abuse.

Fallen human nature inclines to amassing power and its abuse; the privileges that can come with it; the entire package, in fact, of authority, notoriety and so forth that can easily not only be abused but also invite jackals to come along and tempt one to abuse.

Within establishment Republican circles, such a thing had happened way too often with the pro-life movement. Various states have what's considered the official Right to Life organization, which endorses various candidates and policies and so forth.

Nothing wrong with that. However (because there's always a "however"), because the GOP was really the only game in town (forget the commie Democrats), state Right to Life organizations found themselves in bed with the state Republican Party.

Fighting for the future.

Despite the euphoria — deservedly so — over the overturning of Roe, the damage over the past 50 years does not bode well for the future. Think of the cultural devastation as a Category 5 hurricane. Right now, we are in the eye of the storm, a period of relative calm before the back end of the storm comes slamming ashore, and the back end is always more devastating.

During the eye, there is time to clean up from the initial damage and then batten down the hatches and prepare for what's coming. In case you're wondering what we're talking about, here it is: Look at these two polls, one specifically involving Catholics; the other, the population in general.

First, the Catholic polling conducted primarily by Real Clear Politics — the bottom line of the pretty extensive questions is that Catholics as a whole are much more accepting of globalism than the nation at large. And this is demonstrated through a hard look at answers to multiple questions. Fifty-nine percent of Catholics believe the country is on the wrong track, almost 20 points behind the rest of the country at more than 75%.

By a margin of 47–42, Catholics disapproved of the overturning of Roe. But in a slam in the face to Church teaching, 65%–23% acknowledged the Church is opposed to abortion. Translation: While two-thirds of Catholics understand the Church's teaching, nearly half just don't care. That'll end well!

Question after question in all kinds of polls and surveys over the last few months reveal Catholics to oftentimes be the "tip of the spear" on immoral social policies. And when it comes to the youth, faithful Catholic young people are almost nonexistent, as surveys reveal most of them abandon the Faith between the age of 10 and graduating from high school.

That last stat closely mirrors American youth in general. In the second poll we studied, a Rasmussen poll on patriotism and love of country, in every single category, more people under 40 had a negative view of America. They said they were not proud of America and believed the Constitution is rooted in racism and sexism. Talk about playing right into the globalists' hands!

It's what's coming in a few years that we here at Church Militant are warning about. So many of the young, those under 40, have been so brainwashed and mind controlled by schools and the Marxist media, which serve as the mouthpiece for the entire globalist regime, that they have lost all sense of proportion and reality. That is only getting worse by the day, and frequently it's Catholics at the forefront.

The phony-Catholic Jesuits over at America Magazine have all but come out and declared that they are pro-abortion.

Sure, they don't come right out and say it, but by implication, no reasonable person could conclude anything else. They are almost depressed over the overturning of Roe, using language like abortion "rights" and so forth. There is no such thing as a right, any right, to kill an innocent child for any reason. But for a religious community (that takes the sacred name of Jesus as its banner) to practically be suicidal over saving the lives of innocent children is nothing short of demonic.

We all know that the Jesuits long ago gave up the ghost and are essentially communists in robes. But the overthrowing of Roe has now given them permission to drop the masks and get down to business.

One of the names at the heresy-supporting social justice rag is Thomas Reese, a priest so bad and lefty that he actually resigned when Cdl. Ratzinger became Pope Benedict XVI back in 2005. Reese had been at odds with the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith over multiple moral and doctrinal teachings, and when Ratzinger, who was head of the CDF, became pope, Reese threw in the towel — realizing the jig was up. But it wasn't an inward conversion. It was merely political and career oriented — superficial. Reese realized he could do much more damage to the Church not tied to the Jesuit rag.

So for the past almost 20 years, he has fired off article after article criticizing anything and everything his little hands could attack from a keyboard. He's published in a handful of other lefty publications that spread his filth farther than just writing for America magazine could do. Recently, the traitor to the Faith wrote two articles published in the Religion News Service, one before Roe was overturned and the other after. Neither took a kind view of the terrific news.

But it was the first one, in particular, published when the original draft was leaked back in early May, that was the most revealing of the two. In that article, entitled "After Winning on Abortion, It's Time for Catholic Bishops to Switch Parties," Reese makes the rather asinine point that the bishops are mostly closet Republicans in lockstep with the GOP. Well, many of them certainly are closeted but not the way Reese means — who himself might know a thing or two about closeted things.

To even suggest that the bishops are united with the GOP platform shows the depths of Reese's ignorance or deceit — likely the latter. With the exception of abortion, the U.S. bishops check almost every single box on the Democratic Party dance card. You name it; they support it: illegal immigration, gun control, climate change, Obamacare, gay everything — the whole enchilada. In each of these areas, the U.S. bishops' conference not only supports but leads the way in pushing all of them.

The website of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops is littered with press releases and click-throughs to everything the Party of Death supports. The bishops get almost half their funding — hundreds of millions of dollars — from D.C. to promote all this communist garbage, money they aren't about to turn down for a little thing like the gospel.

There's an old expression: People vote with their feet, and their money goes with them. If that's the case (and there is a lot of precedent for it) then it's important to understand what's happening in the contemporary "war" between the states. It's a cultural war. Well, at least for the moment, it's confined to cultural issues. Who knows what will happen down the road. But for the moment, it's all social issues like abortion, climate change, immigration, gun control and so forth.

And here's the rub: Back in the day, states used to battle each other for businesses to come to their state with tax incentives, labor-force availability, price breaks and so forth. But today, it's like clown world. First, every blue state in America is quickly dissolving into an economic wasteland. The citizen- and corporate-immigration rates are sky high, as people and businesses "bolt the blue."

For example, as Democrat governors in blue states went on their tyrannical COVID tears in 2020, IRS numbers show residents, businesses and wealth flowed out of those states and into red ones. Forty billion dollars poured out of California and New York combined, while thirty billion flowed into Texas and California. 2021 numbers are expected to show even greater economic devastation for blue states.

Moody's Investors Service recently released data showing the best-performing economies are dominated by Republican-led states, and 8 of the 10 worst are blue states. Likewise, what the Biden administration never tells you when bragging about unemployment data is this: It's the red states that have recovered all the jobs they lost during the pandemic and added 341,000 over and above the days of COVID. On the other hand, the blue states are still deep in the hole — 1.3 million jobs.

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the final day of the Renewing America Tour in Virginia Beach this past weekend.

When you look at the crowd of thousands and the impressive list of speakers, it's easy to forget that all of this began just about a year and a half ago with an idea. That idea was to combat the garbage going on in the country.

Clay Clark was a successful businessman, not a political activist and organizer. He'd built up a tidy little wedding-planning empire around the country. But then, a few months after Biden assumed the powers of the presidency and began carting along his whole global reset agenda, Clark became concerned — deeply concerned. What began small (in idea) has now become a nationwide tour of 13 massive conventions, each one sold out, often weeks in advance. Dozens of speakers educate and inspire the audiences, not just in person but also through the multiple patriot media outfits that livestream it.

And there is nothing about the agenda of the globalists that does not get discussed here. From the COVID tyranny to the co-opting of the U.S. government by communists, you name it, it's on the main stage sooner or later. Interestingly, however, one topic continues to fly under the radar, and that's owing to the reality that this is largely a Protestant-attended event — even then, it's certainly not all Protestant congregations.

Just as the pro-life movement in America has largely been a half-century effort on the part of Catholics, including the Catholic justices who struck down Roe, the more broad-based patriotic movement is largely fueled by Protestant energy. As a result, they are not that aware of the important part the U.S. hierarchy as a whole has played in the collapse of the country. To their credit, more credit than is due to most everyday Catholics, they do recognize the spiritual component of all that is happening.

Without realizing it, Clark was moving on a Catholic principle when he decided to commit to all this. That principle is known as "subsidiarity," and it simply means "what individuals can accomplish by their own initiative and efforts should not be taken from them by a higher authority." In short, everything starts small and should be managed and solved locally by those most capable of addressing it and solving it.

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the Reawaken America Tour in Virginia Beach, Virginia, this past weekend where thousands of American patriots packed the rafters to listen to a dazzling array of subjects and speakers — all of them aimed at taking back America from the communist influence swamping it. In fact, its overall theme is writ large with the messaging of the Great Awakening vs. the Great Reset. It's a message that resonates perfectly in this crowd.

What's most interesting about events like this, again, routinely attended by thousands of patriots, is just how under the radar they are for the average American. The Marxist media has no desire whatsoever to cover these kinds of things — just the opposite, in fact.

As a result, a virtual, and we do mean virtual, cottage industry has grown up and provides wall-to-wall coverage on its own websites and livestreams. Almost two dozen niche politically conservative websites and citizen-journalist outfits were present, streaming and providing content and information to a combined audience of hundreds of thousands (touching a million or more by conservative estimates). Even more big-name conservative outfits like Epoch Times were present — also streaming the message and providing commentary and analysis and keeping the troops back home updated.

All of this is, of course, still somewhat in its infancy compared to the Marxist media, but every passing year, this combined effort is reaching more and more Americans — normal Joes fed up with the Marxist dominance of the culture. The smarter outfits like Church Militant have long since figured out that any of this could be canceled by Big Tech, and we've spent a fortune ensuring we have our own servers and platforms and are not as easily unplugged by Big Tech.

However, there is one aspect to all this that we at Church Militant and faithful Catholics have got to bring up. These events (and the ensuing coverage) are largely organized through Protestant congregations and their ministers, who are on board with the narrative. There is plenty of talk and billboards and flyers extolling God, Jesus and faith — but it's all Protestant.

With the exception of Church Militant, there is not a single official or even semiofficial Catholic presence there or, in fact, at any events like this anywhere around the country. Think of the incredible evangelism opportunity being missed here at events like this.

Aside from media, there is what's called "information alley," where vendors are hocking shirts, books, pamphlets and so forth. Not a single Catholic table anywhere. Do Catholics really have nothing to say about the direction of the country, about the most pressing issues of the day culturally and politically? Talk about going out to the margins and getting "the smell of the sheep" on you.

That's the conclusion of this Vortex, so let's walk you through the steps to reach that conclusion. First, Joe — a complete flop, loser, washed up, done with. This National Review headline from Wednesday just about says it all: "Joe Biden's Latest Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Polling."

The article's clincher says it all: "57% say that the actions of the federal government over the past six months have hurt their family when it comes to their most important concern." The National Review continued, "When it's four months to Election Day and 57% of the voters say that your current and recent policies are making things personally worse for them on their most important issue, you are not in a good place."

There's absolutely no need to go into any of the details in this article because there isn't an American breathing who doesn't know that this man is done. At this point, it's unsurprising to learn that many Democrats feel the same way.

Among those not wanting Joe to run again are potential Democratic opponents. Hillary Clinton, of course, is beginning to do a light jig around Biden's grave, and she's not alone. Also stepping up, smelling blood in the water, is California's phony-Catholic governor Gavin Newsom as well as Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker.

While this trio is being a bit more audacious, there is one who is hanging back, being much more sneaky and quiet, and that is Michelle Obama. Yes, the rumor machine was in full swing in 2020 about Michelle jumping, which she never did.

No more excuses.

Church Militant is now the most-talked-about Catholic website on the planet.

From atheists to leftist Marxists (including but not limited to members of the hierarchy) to politicians who pose as conservatives to faithful Catholics who are sick and tired of the constant downward spiral, Church Militant has risen to be a leader — perhaps the leader — in this area. Even the Vatican Secretariat of State monitors us every day, as well as multiple dioceses throughout the country, including our own here in Detroit.

First, we'd like to thank all of you who have propelled this apostolate to the heights it has reached. None of it would be possible without you. But there is something more basic I'd like to address and get a little personal about in the process, if I may.

What Church Militant has become today owes to one moment in the temporal order. Of course, without the spiritual order of my mom's prayers for my return to the Faith and the multitude of graces they afforded us, the temporal order would amount to nothing. That being said, the temporal order does matter, a lot.

When I returned to the Faith (the One True Faith), I had a deep yearning to do something for the Faith that would be a "thank you" to God as well as a "share the joy of the truth" to others.

From the time of my reversion in June 2004 until the first "inspiration" or idea in late 2005, I used to talk with my dad constantly about what I could do. I had zero ideas really — all kinds of stuff, but nothing taking solid form. I was doing very well financially in my career at the time, but just increasing donation amounts to various Catholic outfits didn't seem like enough.

At that time of my life, in fall 2005, my job was taking me around the world on various production shoots, and the book The Da Vinci Code was everywhere. Written by Dan Brown, it was another one of those "death by a thousand cuts" approaches to destroying people's faith.

The book, which calls itself a novel but is treated as history, is little else than a denial of Our Lord’s divinity. It also insisted He and Mary Magdalene were an "item" and had a child, and the Catholic Church was part of a 2,000-year-long conspiracy trying to hide this from the world.

The book (and subsequent movie starring Tom Hanks) was the sole impetus in the temporal order for the launching of this apostolate — nothing more.

I was infuriated by the proposals the book and movie put forward and said to myself, "I have to do something!" So I told my dad that I had finally figured out what to do and began producing a documentary debunking the ridiculous claims of Dan Brown.

I never got around to producing that documentary because several days later, after severe writer's block, I said, "Dad, The Da Vinci Code isn't the problem. The problem is that people believe all this crap because they don't know the Faith. What we need is some kind of regular media presentation of the truths of Catholicism." A few weeks later, I was renting building space, converting it into a studio and getting down to business.

That first effort was and remains our flagship show, The One True Faith, with more than 100 hour-long episodes. Premium members can still view those. The host looks a little younger, but the content is great because it's Catholic truth. The point is, I did something. When staff members joined me in those early days, none of us had the slightest idea that it would become all this. That was God's doing.

He did what He did because we did something. We had no guarantee of success. We didn't plan or even think of all this. We almost crashed and burned twice. But because we kept praying and fighting and doing, here we are.

I'm saying all this to encourage you to do something meaningful. Put some skin in the game — your skin. It must hurt to count. It must be a sacrifice to be meaningful. The world is going to hell and you must do something.

It's always done to conceal the truth.

Listening to the media fallout from the Supreme Court's overturning of Roe, as well as a host of other rulings this term, you’d think the world was coming to an end. Headlines like "Judicial Activism" and "Illegitimate Court" dominate the Marxist media.

What the media types are banking on (or at the very least, hoping for) is that the majority of people can be snookered into thinking the current court is the activist one — not the various courts that preceded it for decades.

It all revolves around a proper understanding of the Constitution, meaning, Should it be seen in a very narrow manner or a very broad manner?

A very narrow meaning means just that. Only the rights laid out in it count — life, liberty and pursuit of happiness; press; speech; religion and so forth. Of course, as time goes by, all that sometimes needs interpreting, but never so much as to actually create new rights.

How much are Marxist Dems willing to risk?

I'm Michael Voris coming to you from Capitol Hill, where Democrats are not only putting on a display of raw political power with the meaningless Jan. 6 hearings, but also huddling up trying to lock down some strategy to blunt the impact of the court's overturning of Roe.

The ruling itself they are powerless to do anything about, at least with the current makeup of the court.

And given the relatively young ages, it doesn't appear there will be any vacancies to fill anytime soon.

Clarence Thomas is the senior justice at 74, followed by Samuel Alito at 72. Chief Justice John Roberts is 67, Brett Kavanaugh is 57, Gorsuch is 54 and Amy Coney Barrett is 50.

On the opposite side, Sonia Sotomayor is 68, Elena Kagan is 62 and Ketanji Brown Jackson is 51.

That is an extremely young court overall, and, to put it in a little perspective personally, I'm older than four of them — and almost five. It's true that Justice Thomas is 74, but many justices have far surpassed that age and remained on the bench. So as the Dems huddle, replacing one of the Justices in the remaining time Biden has left in the White House is pretty much scratched off their list.

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the Supreme Court, where, based on various pro-lifers Church Militant has spoken to, it's clear that the big picture is being missed.

A number of years ago at the March for Life, Church Militant did an informal survey of dozens of attendees and found that around 10% were okay with homosexual relationships and about one-third thought contraception was acceptable.

Frankly, we were more than stunned and realized right there and then that a philosophical cancer had already begun to metastasize within the pro-life movement. The heart of that error is the abject failure to make the connection between abortion and sexual immoralities like homosexuality, contraception, fornication and so forth.

He's an animal!

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the U.S. Supreme Court, where it has now become clear that, after decades of being pretty darn quiet, Clarence Thomas has assumed the mantle of clarity, charity and precision.

Thomas is the heart and soul of this court now, despite the squishy John Roberts being chief justice. Thomas is the moral gravity to be dealt with here at SCOTUS.

For the moment, this new reality has been somewhat lost on the Marxist crazies, as it has not fully dawned on them yet what the dynamic now is among the justices. For the moment, most of the venom has been spewed at Trump's picks of Amy, Brett and Neil.

Have the Marxists lost the advantage?

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the U.S. Supreme Court in the nation's capital, where the pro-death response to last week's overturning of Roe v. Wade has fizzled into what amounts to a big nothingburger.

There was actually much more outrage on the part of Marxists in the immediate aftermath of the leaked draft last month than there has been in response to the actual decision itself being handed down. There were death threats, the attempted killing of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, pro-life centers bombed and torched, Catholic churches vandalized, Catholic Masses disrupted and so forth.

But compared to what was expected to happen over this past weekend, relatively speaking, very little has happened. Expectations were so dire, in fact, that the Department of Homeland Security issued a formal advisory to Catholic bishops to be on high alert for violent outbursts.

Even out here in front of the Supreme Court itself, the supporters of child-killing have been spectacularly fewer in number than anyone expected. Church Militant has been here each day now this week and it's never been more than a hundred, and that was a one-time peak that we saw.

It's just the beginning.

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from outside the U.S. Supreme Court, where this past Friday — the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart — a Catholic, top-heavy slate of justices killed Roe v. Wade and set in motion what will now prove to be the largest political war in U.S. history.

It is the states now where the battle must be fought intensely. And for the pro-life camp, if they thought it was intense this past half-century, they ain't seen nothin' yet.

Abortion has not been defeated. It has simply been relegated back to the states, where thousands of legislative battles must now be fought.

It's true the death of Roe is a severe blow to the Communist Left — but it is far from a final victory. The lives of some innocent children are now protected, true. And that absolutely needs to be celebrated.

Now everyone sees it for all its ugliness.

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the U.S. Supreme Court, where its justices are on a tear, reversing decades of Marxist advances. From gun rights to state rights to religious rights, this term will go down in American jurisprudence history as the month when American originalism was finally resuscitated.

To be certain, there is still a lot morally wrong in America. Some of that immorality long predated the sexual revolution of the 1960s, but that decade, from roughly 1963 to 1973, set the stage for a massive assault against Christianity that has led to the current culture of rot that is so prevalent today.

Tim Busch and his NAPA gathering are part of the problem.

If you had to point to one leading cause of the collapse of the Church, which has led to the collapse of the culture, you would have to have near the top of the list — if not the very top — the complicity of the enablers (especially wealthy enablers) of the U.S. bishops.

There is oftentimes a disturbing dynamic between the wealthy and their parasites, especially if the parasites bring a certain level of respectability and their own cache.

While this is true in various walks of life, it is especially true in the Church when bishops kiss up to the wealthy for obvious reasons, but the wealthy also get their pound of flesh by rubbing elbows with the hierarchy. They get to tell their friends that they've "just come back from dinner with the cardinal."

Both the wealthy and the bishops are lying to each other and enabling each other's respective weaknesses. For example, typically speaking, the wealthy are normally buttoned down. They seldom make a fuss or step outside the accepted boundaries of proper etiquette. All "distasteful" issues are handled in private, in what can easily be described as an underhanded way.

The collapse of the Church in America began right here in Detroit in the 1960s under a man hailed at his death by secular media giants as "the most liberal" churchman in the country.

Cardinal John Dearden was "woke" before "woke" became a thing. And for the record, being "woke" began in the Church long before it assailed the culture. In fact, "wokeness" in the culture owes its existence first to dissidents in the Church. And among the leaders, none plays as prominent a role as Cdl. Dearden.

For example, hardly a night passes on Church Militant Evening News where we aren't reporting on some craziness being proposed at synods and their warm-up periods, known as "listening sessions." The whole "synod madness" was first unleashed in modern times by John Dearden, who in 1969 launched "listening sessions" and the follow-up synod right here in Detroit.
