1. Linking a site or video channel repetitively while linking few or no other sites;
2. Repetitive posts or comments that are essentially identical;
3. Offers to commercially sell anything

Posts or comments deemed as spam are subject to deletion. You and/or your domain are subject to a site ban if you are found to be spamming.

Please create a Discussion Post to name/report the offending user, it is helpful to provide a link to the user's profile page and the name of the domain they are spamming in the text field.

The dregs of the internet have found voat and we need your help.

Just in the last few days, I've deleted a user's post offering a commercial product/service, and today I banned a URL and its user for posting only their site (this was after a message to stop the spam got ignored). I expect soon to see brand spanking new users making repetitive posts or comments hawking their junk too. Each of these is a form of spam and is not welcome here.

Should you come across a user who looks like they are spamming, please make a discussion post with that user's name at v/ReportSpammers and we'll will take a look. A link to that user's profile page and the name of their site/domain or their channel is helpful.
