Reddit has some new fucky going on.
(MeanwhileOnReddit)Observe this post:
https://archive.is/qm8MgThe link goes to the reddit post which is now locked (so that you can't point out the obvious power grab).
In short, post after post has been spammed on the site where the mods supposedly support the idea of reddit doing something about covid misinformation.
The problem is that this entire thing was started by a group of reddit moderators more toxic than nearly all of the reddit community combined: The mods of FragileWhiteRedditor.
I was at work when this started (sorry, can't view the free speech sites at work so I'm stuck with reddit) and noticed this and, being bored and loving to poke at the bear, I made an account to point this out. In less than 5 minutes the account was suspended (banned) by the admin.
The only way to stop "misinformation" is to have the ability to tag user accounts to people. That means that this is a coordinated call for an end to anonymity on reddit and other social media sites. Further, it would eliminate user ability to fight back against abuse by moderators and admin, regardless of what social media it is.
FragileWhiteRedditor is a sub that exists solely for the purpose of insulting and degrading white people on reddit. Nothing they say or do should be assumed be "safe" or "non-toxic." The people who own the company chain down to reddit are Jewish and Chinese is the single largest stakeholder in the company. This is no coincidence.
This is a coordinated and non-organic attempt to remove anonymity from most of the internet.
Incidentally, this is a touch over 2 and a half years since tencent invested in reddit. Sounds to me like there's a sudden push to enforce account/person ties in order to prep for a 3 year obligation.
