What a crazy event! One of the largest events of the year in Ohio, especially with only a 7 day lead time!!

The headline class of the event saw 10 entries in total which included the return of Andy Robinson & Anger Management!

Thundervally is really fast from the tree, real sticky. But the top of the track in the shut down is not so fast, and not as sticky. LOL This is as close to racing on the street as you can get. Safer, but still SKETCHY. We had 11 cars for this Friday Night Fight! Lets see if we can make this thing go some rounds.

One of the biggest fields in Doorslammers 2021 was the 4 Cylinder class with 31 entries. However by the end of qualifying this was down to 25 with a number of breakages.

/Spoiler There was some great match ups early on with thanks to the random pairings but it was Kev Jenkins and the Fraudster C20LET Mk1 Escort that went all the way, running a 7.9 second pass in each round and taking the win against Andy Hughes and his Time Attack Subaru in the finals.

The FWD Class again was the biggest field of Doorslammers and the most competitive too. There were a number of new members to the European FWD 9 Second Club and 1 new 8 Second Club Member too!

/SPOILER 2018 Winner Stephen Ray took his Astra Van all the way to the finals again where he met Andy Nicholls and his Honda Civic.

The Street Class at Doorslammers 2021 had some serious entries! There were two rules in this class, every car needed a valid MOT and no wheelie bars were allowed!

/SPOILER The most epic burn down happened in the final where the clear favourite Andy Bond met Dave Mace but neither of them wanted to stage first.

It's no surprise to see Beater Bomb sweeping the competition, especially at his home track. What we're excited about is getting one step closer to figuring out what's under the hood. Joey's son seems to have info and we're not sure how secure his bond to the secret engine combination is. How good can a 3 year old be at keeping secrets anyways?
