>The very simple fact that you believe something like crypto is safe & untouchable is a monument to your naivety.

Lying about what I said does not help your position.

I just now realized you're not the OG Rott, but a 4chan autist imposter.

Bravo, my good sir. Bravo.

Pretending like people who are pointing out your ignorant position of trying to make analogies to gold confiscation are defending crypto so you don't lose face for being ignorant of the subject is an even bigger low than I anticipated you would be capable of.

The fact that you're so technically ignorant you think government has the level of competency necessary to do a similar thing with blockchain just shows you're subvesive as fuck and represent that governments interests. Intentionally, or otherwise.

It's pathetic. I pity you for this.

OK boomer Milo. The US runs all the rest of the world other than a private crypto island.

You are much better arguing things you understand. This one ain't for you dipshit, just move on.

The part your jew addled brain is willingly ignoring is that if government bans crypto, anyone with crypto can simply leave and not look back and they don't need to worry about a suitcase full of gold. They just need 12 words in their head.

You're so stupid it's physically painful. To think I once respected you.

>What's the proportion of unpasteurized milk drinkers to pasteurized milk drinkers?

Roughly the same proportion of people who use crypto vs. the ignorant luddites like you who don't, probably.

The core concept you appear to be suffering from too much boomer dementia to understand is that I can have a crypto wallet 100% in my head without the Internet at all, and go anywhere on the planet and extract it into fiat even if I got there completely naked.

It's sad to see what you've become.

/v/AskVoat viewpost?postid=63bc3a9e4f1a0

rage -1 points 1.3 years ago

I mean.. he's right, though.

>Do you understand how gold seizures went down less than 100 years ago with criminal penalties?

Straight up boomer tier bullshit.

Be jackboot government thugs. Beat down Rotteuxx's door and find his gold. Confiscate it, arrest him.

Be jackbook government thugs. Beat down Rotteuxx's door and not find any crypto on his computer because he has the 12 words in his head. Now what?

You're shilling hard for some obscene reason. It's.. really sad to watch how dumb you are on this subject.

Since when did making something illegal stop it?

Do you legitimately believe the US Government can decide tomorrow to make Bitcoin illegal, and it will stop being used?

More than 180 COUNTRIES in the world now peg their reserve currency to Bitcoin. They do not care about the USD or any other FIAT, because they were not even part of that system in the first place and Bitcoin solved that problem for them so they no longer even need to.

You cannot ban Bitcoin without shutting off the Internet.

/v/AskVoat viewpost?postid=63bc3a9e4f1a0

rage 1 point 1.3 years ago

All money is dependent on the Internet. A minuscule fraction of a fraction of transactions use cash, and even those require the Internet to transact with the non-cash.

You have not illustrated any logical explanation for why Bitcoin is any different than SWIFT or BRICS.

All you and @Rotteuxx have done is illustrate a degree of technical incompetency which makes it very difficult to have a realistic discussion on this subject.

Once again, I'm trying to help, but your lack of comprehension on this subject is making it irreconcilable.

/v/AskVoat viewpost?postid=63bc3a9e4f1a0

rage 0 points 1.3 years ago

Just to make sure I understand, your argument is that it will be stopped by making it illegal..?

/v/AskVoat viewpost?postid=63bc3a9e4f1a0

rage 1 point 1.3 years ago

>Your entire printed out log book thing is a retarded argument.

Please illustrate a single circumstance where the Bitcoin network no longer functions that does not involve cascade failure of the Internet at large leading to an extinction level event.

ALL finance stops if the Internet goes away, not just Bitcoin.

Your argument is technically ignorant.

Governments cannot ban the blockchain traffic without shutting off the Internet.

This was said plainly in a congressional hearing in 2016. It is still a fact today.

Get angry all you want, I'm trying to help you.

/v/AskVoat viewpost?postid=63bc3a9e4f1a0

rage 2 points 1.3 years ago

Are you truly so technically challenged you fail to see that a PERMANENT elimination of the Internet today = an extinction level event?

You've never come off like a luddite, why are you ignoring the infallibility of this argument?

/v/AskVoat viewpost?postid=63bc3a9e4f1a0

Thank you for proving my argument, when I pointed out that every time you actually respond you react like an autistic spergy teenager.

>Crypto relies 100% on internet infrastructure.

Pretty sure we had this convo a few times on OG Voat.

Your very first thesis statement is irreconcilable.

Yes, it relies on an Internet connection to function.

But, you can print the entire blockchain out on paper right now and stick it in a water tight safe and drop it in the ocean and a million years from now, someone could find it, compile the code, and re-start the entire chain from that moment in time.

It does NOT need the Internet so survive. Like anything, it could be temporarily paused, but it will exist forever with a record of every transaction that has ever happened, transparently, without the ability to lie/cheat/steal.

NOTHING that has come before has ever provided this capability. We've just scratched the surface with how we can use this for technological innovation.

I didn't even read the rest of your post yet because I wanted to start here and see if this data changes anything else.

You are still disillusioned if you legitimately believe the replies are legitimate.

90%+ of Reddit is bot content. Machine learning algorithms adjust confluence accordingly, to appear adaptive and organic.

As long as you luddites continue to pretend things on Reddit represent real people, you'll remain distracted from your true enemy.

/v/MeanwhileOnReddit viewpost?postid=63bb2202b35e0

I'm not here to convince anyone of anything.

I'm here to suggest that the only effective method to make a bot pointless, is not to comment on it's A-B testing content.

If Conspirologist ever had a dialogue about it's threads, I wouldn't have to point this out.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I'm not here to do your forensics for you.

/v/whatever viewpost?postid=63bc0e827e7dd

rage 2 points 1.3 years ago

Stop feeding the bots by responding to them.

Simple concept, and more than enough to prevent their efforts from obtaining the desired outcome.
