I wouldn't put too much stock in the census. I am over 40 and have never participated in one. I can't imagine illegals, hispanics, and niggers on the lamb are lining up for them either. It's nothing more than propaganda.

With the coming demographics collapse this seems more like a softening of the blow tbh. Start the culling on a smaller scale a little early to take some of the burden off of the healthcare system. It's the massive influx of boomers in the long term care system that will take the largest toll, for the United States at least.
I feel like most people are missing the biggest catastrophe out there, complete demographics collapse. There are only 5 developed nations that will escape the coming calamity, but they will still suffer all the same. India, Iran, Brazil, Mexico, and the United States alone have managed to keep thier birth rates above replacement ratios. South Africa will happen in every nation on earth when every economy on earth collapses in unison. This has been coming for 40 years and the plans have been laid.
So judging by the media's track record we can expect the opposite to happen. Red states and unvaccinated will be fine but blue states and vaccinated will be decimated by the delta variant.
