Christians have been naming their kids after the bible for years. Hank is Dutch—though rhey are notoriously tight and probably conspired with the Jews to seat William and Mary. Still Cromwell is ultimately to blame for that invitation…
His outro solo on run like the wind is pretty killer. But it begs the question to me: if there were an american ethnostate, what would be the music? Are we to ignore the musical history of this content and just listen to european classical and folk music? To my mind the blues is a distinctly american amalgam of black celtic native traditions. Bluegrass is pretty white, except for the banjo, but like Hank Williams’s only music teacher was a black man. I dunno it just seems far more complicated than get rid of every non-white in terms of what constitutes a specifically american culture. Ok now go ahead and call me a kike etc…
Yeah as someone else pointed out it’s a shit question because they’re forcing you to make 8 into 10 instead of letting you choose 9, which logically more easily converts into 10–you just borrow one from the 8 and add it to 9.
It reminds me of my friends who had to take college calculus, which i had had in high school with an actual retired engineer, who had no time for the definition of a derivative and basically taught us the chain rule on day 2. Whereas my friends were forced to do worksheet after worksheet the long way—it just makes you hate math instead of admiring its utter elegance and simplicity.
I did this intuitively, but i teach my kid this. Like if you had 62 + 87 you can do it the way we were taught of writing them on top of each other, or you can add 60+80 and 2+7. Sometimes it makes things easier.
I do think that kids should just memorize shit and learn the theory later, especially with algebra onwards.

But this is my point partially: are you saying Hank Williams sucks?

Careful, you might get linked back to Gauss and his teacher Kästner

Why not add 1 to 9 to make 10? It’s the same difference, not a commie conspiracy.
