Unix systems are not a single monolith. A Linux system is built from multiple parts that can be swapped out (including Linux kernel). That keeps quality high.
Get rid of Code of Conduct and replace it with the Code warrior pledge. In modern society you will be attacked by leftist in some way hence why CoC will only empower the left.
That being said NixOS sounds like a bad idea that probably is in trouble because of design issue that got exposed once NixOS hit a certain size (like Java).
