Why? Derram is just a bot. Realistically, could have been written by a State actor, or easily used by one for focused monitoring & analysis. Serves a very good archival purpose, but that very archival purpose can also be weaponized easily.

Think about it. A bot that automatically archives everything posted on a site that needs to be watched. It's just an index of content to which a machine learning algorithm can be properly tuned to observe, and which rapid A-B testing can be performed against.

SBBH single-handedly ran off 99% of the high IQ on original Voat.

While I am not advocating their removal, their behavior is subversive in nature.

State sponsored subversion vs. autism subversion. In the end, subversion is subversion.

Justin let them run roughshod, and it ultimately was a major part of the original Voat's demise.

I'm on the fence, here. Without SBBH, high IQ would exist. With high IQ, Voat would be focused even more by State-sponsored tyrants.

I am extremely surprised by this decision.

I am openly suspicious of this decision.

The most reasonable conclusion most of us came to was that Justin was SBBH the entire time, which is part of why he tolerated and pretended to dislike their behavior.

This would make for a fantastic A-B test.
