We may be interpreting this image differently.

My dad lost his cool with me exactly once and the physical nature of the incident was pretty similar to what is pictured above. Whether he meant to or not, it showed me that he is able to physically impose himself on me with ease and that he is not perfect and able to control his emotions at all times. I do not see it as a negative experience but instead it seemed to restore the nature of our relationship. My parents were not violent; I was spanked like four times, so the experience with my dad when I was a teen made me realize the significance and adjust my behavior appropriately.
