I looked up the "victim" and it listed
Crime Description
Lewd or Lascivious Battery with Victim 12-15 Years of Age F.S. 800.04(4)(a)(1)

Definition is:
(4) LEWD OR LASCIVIOUS BATTERY.—
(a) A person commits lewd or lascivious battery by:
1. Engaging in sexual activity with a person 12 years of age or older but less than 16 years of age; or
2. Encouraging, forcing, or enticing any person less than 16 years of age to engage in sadomasochistic abuse, sexual bestiality, prostitution, or any other act involving sexual activity.

So it wasn't just public urination. This guy crossed the line.

I saw this. But there is a difference between a 20 year old forcibly raping a 12 year old or a 20 year old having a "consensual" sexual encounter with a 15 year old. One of these deserves killing, one of them doesn't IMO. Both scenarios would fit this conviction.

police were led to microscope slides containing DNA material from the victim that Jones had allegedly kept.

Somebody wanted to be like Dexter Morgan.

Jones was arrested on March 28 after investigators found an Amazon package in the suitcase addressed to Jones.

But next time he'll need to be more careful. Dexter would never make such a careless mistake.
