'Wise men' is not a very good translation. They were sorcerers.
The author of Matthew was trying to validate the gospel of Jesus by legitimizing it within the tradition of astrology.
We can infer a few things from this (probably):
1. astrological traditions, especially those of the Persians, were religiously respected, even among jews, at the time this gospel was authored
2. the author of Matthew was probably trying to claim that Jesus was the fulfillment not only of their tradition, but all the others
3. there was syncretism afoot: probably the pagan traditions already featured a nativity story surrounding the winter solstice in which the Invincible God is born, and the author of Matthew wanted to make that kind of claim about Jesus (especially since there would have been competitors like Mithras-Sol Invictus around)
I know they had a strong “good vs evil” dichotomy which had a strong influence on second temple judaism. Im just repeating shit Ive heard. Earlier yahwism was more “might is right” imo

At least learn English before being assigned to an English-speaking website.

That's a new one for me about Zoroaster. I nod to Persian influence a lot, but my knowledge of Zoroastrianism is wanting. I know 'the basics.'

Why did the 3 maji show up to worship the God child if the God child wasn't their God?

This isn't an insult for them.
It's like calling a train hobbiest a train hobbiest.
They don't mind being called what they enjoy doing.
