I've done fasts routinely of 3-5 days and fasts up to 15 days before. It's great but it's nothing magical like the video says it is. Yeah there are some autophagy effects and reduction in inflammation temporarily but nothing ground breaking. It's good to do maybe 1-4x a year I'd say. Low carb diet and intermittent fasting is better strategy long term. Plants/fruits + 0.7g per pound of lean body mass protein daily + lifting + walking. Key thing is keeping insulin sensitivity high. Low dose losartan + low dose metformin are also good supplements as one gets older.
Maybe one day they'll spread a mix of truth but mostly lies with AI so AI becomes synonymous with false information. Then when they need something to be false they just flood the internet with AI saying it. AI could be the new "conspiracy theory," capable of being true or false but programmed to be a false synonym with false.
Either way I really am not listening to a clanker. This post was non-information because it came from a clanker. Not negative, not positive. A null post.
The only thing we know is that op passes hash. That's cyber-security speak for being a vector of an attack. That's the only thing this low quality post conveys.
I've always just eat when I feel hungry. Sometimes that means that I eat twice a day, sometimes it means I don't eat anything all day. I hear this and that about fasting, and I always wonder if it's what I do normally.
For whatever reason you are immune to the goyslop agenda. I know a family of Japanese, and they cannot gain weight even when they try. The boy wanted to bulk up and he tried to eat as much as possible. But he would get full and be unable to swallow! The mom wanted to look kore american she thought she was underweight. Could notphysically swallow when full. So, yeah, genetics plays a role.
When I'm hungry I eat, there's been frequent times when I really pig out and then after pulling away from the table I feel like something's going to rupture, then I have no desire to eat the next day except for fruits, sometimes I find if I'm being lazy and want to do nothing and I've burned up zero energy I won't even be hungry...it's when you eat just because your jaw works and you're not burning it off that's bad, particularly when it's junk food...but drink lots of water.
Every landwhale will claim she/he only eats when he/she is hungry...problem is he/she is ALWAYS hungry, and NEVER satiated. Some eat to live, while others live to eat. The latter are called 'shit factories'!
Pretty much anything (or everything) can be an addiction to them with zero willpower...including food.
Interestingly, the “addiction” is insulin resistance and it is well understood.
Cut all carbohydrates and the issue resolves itself.
Can we really refer to it as an addiction if a person eats and, because insulin resistance prevents their cells from receiving the nutrition, they are unsatiated and still hungry? It’s fucked up buts its easily treated.
Everything in life is physical. If we understand the physical mechanisms of one kind of addiction or another does it make it not an addiction? Or are the physical mechanisms exactly what makes it an addiction?
Either way you need to solve the problem and if we know how then we need to act on it regardless of how we label it.
Drinking too much water is especially problematic in combination with fasting because it generally causes mineral loss. This is why in many cases fasting typically results in some weakness and other minor symptoms, but in severe enough cases (malnourishment) it leads to "refeeding syndrome."
If you've ever wondered why cats and other animals tend not to drink large amounts of water in one sitting.. it stands to reason that they're instinctively conscious of this. In the wild fasting is basically a default state and thus retaining mineral balance is critical.
Fuck msm...one week the narrative is water is vital, the next week being well hydrated is overrated...the body is like an aquarium, it's also 70% water, it has to be replenished and clean...fish tanks cloud from fish slime, fish shit and residual food and if not cleaned the fish are living in filth...drink the water, spring water
I don't disagree with the content, but the audio is AI generated. There are several obvious mispronunciations, like "coast" for "cost". I'll make up my own mind about fasting without the media manipulation.

Already getting back into ketosis after eating like a fat nigger on Thanksgiving. I’ve only eaten once today and I’m simply not hungry. Ketosis is nice because it makes it very easy to go 12 to 24 hours in between meals. And you can always shoot for an extended fast.
Anyway, I’m hoping the obvious never hits the mainstream because one of my goals in life is to heal people through fasting, ketosis, sunlight, and the like. And prescribe myself testosterone and Viagra until I’m on my deathbed.
Since I've quit drinking, for whatever reason I have to eat 3 squares and if I deviate from those times, my system shuts down. I believe fasting occasionally is helpful, but I'm not sure I can do it right now.
Our ancestors did this a lot. Historically, fasting was often tied to ritual/spiritual cleanliness.
But here's the thing about our superstitious ancestors: they lived and died by practicality. If fasting led to lots of deaths and illnesses, they wouldn't have done it. What they did see: fasting had health BENEFITS. They might not have understood them at the time, but they could've made the connection that "people who fast regularly tend to be healthier than those who don't".
I read somewhere that when you eat, the body looks at the food as a foreign invader. The stomach tries to break it down and get it the hell out; the fact that this invader has nutrients is the only benefit.
