Looks Like My G-Steel Died Again

I have had it 4 or 4.5 years and this is the 2nd time this has happened. It is sufficiently charged, but will not pair with my phone or do anything at all.

I love the toughness of the case and bracelet and the functions like backlighting, but overall this watch has been quirky and disappointing.

Meanwhile, someone has found an 60 year-old automatic Longines or Hamilton in their dead uncle’s junk drawer and shook it twice and it’s working.

have you tried loosening it up by putting it in the microwave for 3.14 minutes?

No, if you have a more powerful microwave, you can do it for 1.21 mins to achieve the required 1.21 gigawatts, it has to be at least a 1 gigawatt mwave though.

Those dont seem to have much LCD real estate. What information/activity do you get outta pairing it with your phone?

Can you just buy the guts from Ebay and replace it?

Pairing it is how you set the time. Something is wrong with it because it will not backlight or do anything anymore let alone sync.
