consider the North East countryside, goats. Sure, greater Boston is loaded down with illegals, liberal assholes and general douche-baggery, but keep going north out of MA and it gets better- extremely harsh winters coupled with rural living renders this area mostly unpalatable to most. 95% homogeneity of English, Irish, German, French ancestry with the folks in central NH. Folks without skills and ability tend to leave. the catch? u need 4wd -a tractor helps, tools and general survival know-how. NH and Maine have pockets of conservative, traditional folks that align with less government, lower taxes.

You lost me at "extremely harsh winters"! Fuck regular winters, let alone "harsh" winters! I'd be happy if winter were nothing more than an extended spring!

I experienced Minneapolis one year. Top 8 snowfall total, had two weeks of temps below 0F, then 30 consecutive days without sunshine.

Georgia may have "Hell's Front Porch" instead of summer, but winter mostly in the 40s is quite nice.

How the fuck does the horde of invading Somalians survive there?

[ - ] clymer [op] 1 point 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 10:45:27 ago (+1/-0)

I guess they are mostly around portland ME. I dunno, we are being invaded from all over, and they do gang up from what I hear. The political class sold us out, but we need to keep fighting, no choice

When I was there, they'd be out in winter without any jacket...just their "normal" attire. Either they layered underneath or are too dense to do anything.

I'm good ditching bullshit weather for 6-8 months a year. Shoveling and snowblowing almost daily is dumb.

Most canadians are fags.

You mean like here in Florida?

I’m in multiple layers once it’s below 70 degrees….

[ - ] bobdole9 0 points 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 09:57:21 ago (+0/-0)

The 75-80F dew point is dumb. Born near the Great Lakes, so I am used to winter. It finally is less humid and mornings are in the low 60s...add a bit of a breeze and I was cold outside for the first time since March.

[ - ] iSnark 0 points 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 09:57:43 ago (+0/-0)

Yes, but you have too many wild animals out there looking to kill you in your own back yard!

[ - ] bobdole9 0 points 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 09:59:47 ago (+0/-0)

Georgia mountains might get snow in winter once every 3-4 years...

Fuckton of bees, spiders, and armadillos though.

Iv'e seen in my yard, black bear, bobcat, coyotes by the hundreds it sounds like, something weird howling the other night at 2:00AM, which triggered a shitload of coyote howling, bald eagle, turkeys up the ying yang, fishers, the usual racoon, skunk, groundhog, etc. Moose, deer almost daily

[ - ] clymer [op] 2 points 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 10:53:13 ago (+2/-0)

bro, nyc is a 5 hour drive. Look into NH and get the hell out of that cess pit before the apocalypse sets in. At least try to pick up a bug out camp up here so I have someone to bum beers from

[ - ] TheBigGuyFromQueens 1 point 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 11:15:38 ago (+1/-0)

I don’t drink.

[ - ] clymer [op] 1 point 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 11:52:36 ago (+1/-0)

yeah, well up in these parts, the neighborly thing to do is keep your cooler stocked for guests that show up unannounced in their UTV. (moson ice. Bottles)

[ - ] TheBigGuyFromQueens 0 points 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 20:35:44 ago (+0/-0)*

I’m not keeping poison in my home to appease the neighborhood lushes. When I was a bouncer, I would do body searches and confiscate little nips guys were sneaking in and give them to the doormen in my building, but I would never actually spend my money on any of that rat piss to appear hospitable.

[ - ] clymer [op] 0 points 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 22:34:37 ago (+0/-0)

All right already, i'll grab a beer out of the cup holder in my UTV you teetotaler. Tell you what, i'll be the hospitable guy and bring you a seltzer water, we good? I'll even plow your driveway, jeesh

[ - ] iSnark 0 points 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 09:45:47 ago (+0/-0)

The ground "your" house sits on!

[ - ] clymer [op] 0 points 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 10:46:29 ago (+0/-0)

I'm in a pretty low tax town, for NH. Plus no sales tax, state income tax.

Oh u want specifics. Ok. Bought the lot in 2012 for 24K, taxes were like 200 bucks. includes a share on association beach. First thing I did was buy a pontoon boat on craigslist because I lived an hour south in MA on the NH border. Spent the next 5 years using vacation time to build a 3br house. My self. every stud, rafter, joist and sheet of drywall. Plus a stand alone 2 bay garage with full heated living space above. Total tax bill now is like 3200/yr. 10 houses share the association beach and my neighbors are all cool as shit, only a couple of us here year round, everyone else weekend only. The only hard part is getting dragged out to party with these people, all younger than me by 12, 15 years and want to stay up till 3 on the weekends, i'm the old man these days, LOL (my how times have changed)

[ - ] Clubberlang 0 points 1.6 yearsAug 25, 2024 11:06:20 ago (+0/-0)

Tax is gettin pretty close to that here.

MA is still firmly occupied by the enemy and their social policies.
Hiding in the woods doesn't change the laws of the state or that you are powerless and without representation to change them.
New England is beautiful.
So is California, Oregon, and Washington.
Doesn't mean they're not cesspools of leftism and shitskin occupation.
Doesn't mean shit, because they're not related topics.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 11:53:49 ago (+0/-0)

[ - ] TheOriginal1Icemonkey 0 points 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 11:21:40 ago (+0/-0)

Too cold. I’ll keep my California, wearing shorts in December.

[ - ] dingbat 0 points 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 11:15:16 ago (+0/-0)

That’s absolutely beautiful! I’ve never made it north of NYC but have always wanted to.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 11:54:47 ago (+0/-0)

Upper NY is beautiful

[ - ] Clubberlang 0 points 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 09:38:03 ago (+0/-0)

That's a tall lake. It almost looks like it hovers in the air.

[ - ] Drstrangestgov 0 points 1.6 yearsAug 24, 2024 09:36:24 ago (+0/-0)

I don't know why we let the city assholes ruin everything. They're useless people.
